If you'd like to get your feet wet again - some of the members of the fire department are heading down on Philip Street where the North Fork has gone over its banks. They are going to remove the contents from a few basements - maybe more than a few. I guess they are starting with Booboo's.

Let me clarify - I DID go out there, but I didn't help...I was just the shutterbug. I put on running shoes rather than flip flops, but I couldn't see where I was going and stepped right in the lake water almost immediately. Consequently, I was soaked up to my knees - but it was all good.

Let me ask - it wasn't enough that we got really wet racing to my car after a Horizon's meeting with Dan, but you went out with the firemen to do a little sandbagging! I hope you had on overshoes instead of flipflops. Seriously, I think everyone out there helping last night deserves the community's thanks.
